Hello my name is Barbie Parker. I am honored to serve on the AKKAOA Board of Directors for the upcoming term as your treasurer.

My history of with the Klee Kai breed goes back to about 20 years ago when we obtained our first Klee Kai, a black and white standard male named Ralf, whom we were very fortunate to have for 16 years.  We are now the proud owners of our first miniature red and white female, Koa. We are very excited to begin our journey into Conformation and other dog sports with Koa.

 

Having had so many different breeds of dogs throughout the years – Dachshund, Rottweiler, Red American Pit Bull, Husky, Chihuahua, Golden Retriever, and of course Klee Kai, we came to realize our hearts are truly with the Klee Kai breed.  We do hope to add a sister or brother Klee Kai to our pack soon . Koa currently has one older brother, (who is the love her life) – a 5-year-old, 85 lb English Crème Golden Retriever named Louis.  It is my goal to do everything possible in helping promote the Klee Kai breed and educate others on how remarkable they are.  Looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing our Klee Kai stories.
